1. Choose the cultivation location
   Decide whether you want to grow Purple Haze indoors or outdoors. Indoors, you have full control over light, temperature, and humidity, while outdoors, warm, sunny climates with moderate humidity are ideal.
2. Prepare the soil
   Use nutrient-rich, well-aerated soil with a pH between 6.0 and 7.0. For optimal results, you can add organic supplements such as worm compost or guano to the soil.
3. Sow the seeds or plant the seedlings
   Germinate the seeds by soaking them in damp paper towels or pre-soaking them in water. Once the roots are visible, plant them about 1-2 cm deep in the prepared soil.
4. Lighting conditions
   Purple Haze needs plenty of light to grow healthy and produce a high yield. Indoors, LED or HPS lamps are particularly suitable, as they support the necessary light cycles. During the growth phase, a cycle of 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness is recommended, while in the flowering phase, you should switch to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness. For outdoor cultivation, choose a location that receives at least 8 hours of direct sunlight per day.
5. Monitor temperature and humidity
   Keep daytime temperatures between 20-28°C and at least 18°C at night. Humidity should be 50-60% during the growth phase and 40-50% during the flowering phase to prevent mold.
6. Water regularly
   Water the plants evenly, avoiding waterlogging. Wait until the top layer of soil is dry before adding more water. Use filtered or pH-neutral water whenever possible.
7. Optimize nutrient supply
   During the growth phase, Purple Haze needs nitrogen-rich fertilizers. In the flowering phase, reduce nitrogen and add more phosphorus and potassium to promote flower development.
8. Train the plants (optional)
   Use low-stress training (LST) or other techniques to control growth and maximize yields. This helps distribute light evenly to all flower sites.
9. Monitor the flowering period
   Purple Haze has a flowering period of about 9-10 weeks. Check the trichomes with a magnifying glass—when they are milky white, harvest time is near.
10. Harvest and dry the flowers
    Carefully cut the flowers and hang them in a well-ventilated, dark room at about 50% humidity. After 7-14 days, the flowers are ready for further processing or curing.
